Anyone who doesn't "believe" in Fibromyalgia hasn't been paying attention.
It was discovered at least 2000 years ago.

hey everybody I'm here with dr. Andrew
miles the author of the fibro Bible and
we're going to talk a little bit about
the history of conditions that are
similar to fibro and how long people
have been treating it with different
modalities hey there hi yeah this is
something that I think is very important
for people with fibromyalgia to
understand is that although the term
fibromyalgia and its recognition as a
actual disease has been a bit of an
ongoing uphill battle since the mid 70s
within the Western world that isn't to
say that fibromyalgia symptoms and

function and well today we would

in fibromyalgia and it's been shown
historically as well that you can go
from a place of being weaker than your
average person but in learning to get
strong you can take yourself even
further that's really amazing what a
historical context to have behind you in
doing this kind of work and the science
to unlock it it's not just in the realm
of folklore or spirituality those things
are important the cultural context is
very important and as we look deep into
these science we can understand exactly
why and this gives us a much more
flexible constant context because we're
not going to suddenly become ancient
Chinese people and I know I've been to
acupuncturists and Indian medical
doctors and they'll say ok now you need
to do this chanting and do you know
eagie every day and it's a little bit
ridiculous for our modern context and
for cross-cultural exchange but when we
look at what is the essence of what
people were experiencing a thousand
fifteen hundred a hundred years ago
fifty years ago in East Asia and
unlocked by way of looking at the
science what is underneath that then we
have a very pure and flexible approach
can be applied with people
internationally is we have patients as
you know you know in the Middle East in
South America in the Arctic can
everyone's diet and approach be the same
no but we can all apply the principles
to our unique lifestyle and our unique
fibromyalgia fingerprint
